Creeping as a thing of black,
the vampire readies his attack.
But this vampire is no Noble Dead,
he's something far more wild instead.
A Noble Dead would pick and choose,
rogue vampires are animals on the loose.
And so I stalk him as he preys,
judge of his strengths, wise to his ways.
He sees a potential bloody toy,
I see an unfortunate errand boy.
From the alley he prepares to spring,
I can't allow the attention it'd bring.
Thus I pounce before he strikes,
charging forth, throwing wooden spikes.
I come in low and throw them high,
I see one puncture through his eye.
A tortured scream escapes his lips,
he swipes a claw, meant
"Come to me," she whispers, offering a pale hand.
Something in her voice and eyes, forces me to stand.
A single burning purpose, in a mind that was a wreck.
She pulls me closer, tilts my head, granting access to my neck.
"You'll live in me forever," she purrs into my ear.
Deep inside I know what's next, and yet I feel no fear.
Her cherry lips brush my skin, sending shivers down my spine.
Her hand reaches around my back, and air is hard to find.
Soft breath upon my jawline, she moves in for the kill,
She sucks me dry, and as I die, I'm living for the thrill.
The candle tempts me
in the dead of winter.
The soft glow
shines through the darkness
And finds its way to me.
I let it guide me
through the cold harsh winds of Fate.
The candle still burns,
as I find my way to it,
offering its warmth.
Yet I pause.
Standing close enough to feel
the tempting touches of its warmth.
Calling to me
to come and hold the flame.
Mesmerized I reach out for the flame.
Yet I do not get close enough
For fear of being burned.
Evil
Malicious
Hurting everyone
Even after helping
Gaining trust
Friendship
Maybe love
And I hurt them
Unable to prevent it
An inert nature
To destroy
Just by knowing
As the breath from his nostrils
Flares over the skin in my neck
It sends goose bumps
All over my body
My heart beats wildly
As he inhales my scent
His lips brush over my vein
Before he kisses the spot there
I feel his teeth gently
Gently scraping the tender flesh
A split second before his sharp
Sharp fangs sink in
I gasp as he pulls me closer
Closer into his deadly embrace
My hands glide up from his back
To the back of his head
As I pull him tighter still
To cradle him to me
I wanted this oh so badly
I wanted him to take
Take all of me
To drink me in
Every last drop
As soon I saw him across
Across the dance floor
Have to savor the taste in my mouth
Biting to get just a little more
Metallic, Sweet, and Crimson
To painful to gain from myself
Do others taste the same
No more pain to acquire
Would be so easy
Finally satiate the craving
Satisfy my sweet tooth
Decadent meal to savor
Will someone help me
How can it hurt so much
The pain coursing through my body
Focusing in my chest
Pressure building unable to release
To give in is to become changed
Lose myself to instincts
No logic only primal needs
I cant let it happen
I wont let it happen...
So good
A hush drawing my attention
Looking quick before moving on
Growing constantly
Following after
Walking faster and faster
Hitting a sprint
Left right have to find
The need forcing itself inside me
Crescendo then mute
Stopping looking
Need growing
Taking over
Then again crystal clear behind me
Turning quick involuntarily
Whispers finally making sense
Dropping to my knees
Uttering a simple response
Yes my mistress
Night after night they hunt us like diseased animals
When they are the ones who are the beast without hearts
Too much blood has been spilt in the persuit of dominance
Too many lives have been lost for survival of our race
We look to the future as our day of revolution and hope
When their lust and hunger for blood will seep into the ground
As their dying forms cover the floor like dying rose petals
